What we can do for our local partners

HCHA is a small housing association with a wealth of skills and experience, from property development to specialist housing management and support. We have sound assets in land and property and a robust financial position.

In the late 2000s we agreed a new strategy with a clear objective - to create exceptional new models of affordable housing and support. Ewart House, our first 'extra care' sheltered housing service, was the first of these.

Ewart House and its neighbour Abigail House, built for Octavia Housing, was declared the Best New Place to Live in London in the 2010 London Planning Awards. You can read more about Ewart House below.
