Harrow's young National Citizenship Service trainees have raised a whopping, and very welcome, £758 for our young people's service. This is the second year that the trainees, taking part in a government scheme launched just last year, have made HCHA their preferred local charity.
HCHA featured recently in an ITV news broadcast, with Ewart House used to illustrate the type of scheme that London mayor Boris Johnson wants to see more of. The mayor was launching a new £60m fund for housing with support for elderly and vulnerable people, an initiative backed also by the Department of Health.
